The coi fish
MONDAY, JULY 30, 2007
Occasionally, often at the end of a long time gap,
with a twinkling sound,
three or four drops of fresh water come down
then, rush of a cool water stream along my fines,
the soft kissing vibration over the spine,
You cant imagine...so precious moments are they...
moments, just before the freshness mingles with the old,
i swim in circles in merry merry mood.
at every drop, a wild crazy dance,
i try to capture a live life...
You dont know, its a sticky field,
four glass walls,
one dead conch,
few coloured stones,
three plastic plants,
frozen food stuff,
old foul water two feet high,
This is a forgotten world,
always the smell of decay
fills my nostrils,
They call me THE COI FISH,
that i came from the Yellow river of China,
to bring fortune to their home,
And so, i am a coi fish
somebody has put inside for some body's fancy.
